We’re all about nice art, honouring artists, and spreading random acts of niceness across Web3. These are surprise giveaways, access to events IRL, or supporting social causes. We’re starting with our team of talented designers, then inviting artists across Africa and the world to create a Nice NFT and showcase what it means to them. Who knows, maybe we’ll even make it around the world. 

Each artwork is your membership card to exclusive benefits and a ticket into our seasonal draw. More on this below. We’re giving 10% of all income from Project Nice to various social causes.     1. Minting - season 1: phase 1
      Varying editions of our four genesis artworks will be available to mint. Holders of these Nice NFTs will be eligible for entry into our first ever Nice draw, where they can win an array of awesome gifts. 

    2. The winner of the Nano S Plus is announced. If you were interacting with us early on, it could be you.

    3. Our utility token white paper will be released.

    4. Minting – Season 1: Phases 2, 3 and 4 

      New and exquisite Nice NFTs will be listed. Holders of these will also be eligible for entry into the season one draw. One ticket per Nice NFT.

    5. The season one Nice draw will take place, winners will be announced and the gifts will be distributed. Nice giveaways range from art-related hardware and Nice merch to sought-after career-enhancing courses.

    6. The Project Nice utility token will be airdropped to those eligible.

    7. More seasons and more Project Nice draws filled with exciting giveaways will continue periodically.

  • All Nice NFTs are unique handcrafted artworks of the word NICE. Each artwork is crafted by talented creatives at Nicework and artists from around the world. It’s your ticket into the Nice draw and your Project Nice membership card where you’ll gain access to special content, events, and giveaways.

  • We collaborate with artists around the world and across all disciplines. To date, our artists have created animated, illustrated, and 3D Nice NFTs. We can’t wait to see what you create!

  • There are a few ways to get Nice utility tokens. One way is by collecting Nice NFTs. Another, by collaborating with us to contribute your very own Nice NFTs, or by partnering with us in other ways. You will also earn tokens for voting and eventually, you’ll earn them through our merchandise sale. Interested? Reach out to us here and let us know.

  • You’ll get to weigh in on the decision-making process to decide where the 10% of proceeds from Project Nice goes. This could mean voting for specific social or environmental organisations and charities you’re passionate about. Later on, you will also get to vote on the type of gifts you’d like to receive in future seasons of our Nice Draw and use tokens to buy merchandise.

    Brand new to the world of web3 and NFTs? Here are resources to set up your wallet and get some Ether required to purchase a Nice NFT:

    Step-by-step instructions

    Before you can buy our Nice NFTs, you’ll need a cryptocurrency wallet with some Ether in it. We suggest using Metamask. This is a fully decentralised crypto wallet and almost every decentralised application (dapp) and application built using blockchain technology support Metamask wallets.

    If you have another wallet with Ether in it you’d like to stick with, you’ll be able to see if your wallet is supported when you connect to our site. If it’s not supported you can send Ether to your new Metamask wallet. Check out some of the Metamask instructions on how to do this, below.

    Simply copy your new MetaMask public address and go to your existing wallet or exchange to send funds to your new wallet address.

    You can find your MetaMask address under your account name (in the format 0x12r45...6HJ9).

    How do I install Metamask?

    Go to MetaMask.io and click the “Download” button, which will take you to the relevant store to download the extension or app based on the device and browser you’re using.

    How do I buy Ether for my Metamask wallet?

    You can easily buy tokens directly within MetaMask by clicking “Buy”. Different networks and payment methods are available, though your options will depend on your region.

    If you’re in a region for which this method isn't available, you can try buying Ether on a cryptocurrency exchange supported by your region and send it to your Metamask wallet from there. Most regions support Binance and MoonPay.

    Ready to purchase:

    Now that you have a compatible cryptocurrency wallet with some Ether in it, you’re ready to buy your favourite Nice NFTs. Here’s how:

    1. Login to your wallet.

    2. Navigate to the top of the Project Nice main webpage and click the "Connect Wallet" button <insert location>.

    3. Your wallet should open up automatically. If it doesn’t, navigate to it manually.

    4. You’ll see a message pop up requesting you to sign to confirm the connection to the web page. Confirm this (free) transaction.

    5. Now navigate to the minting area of the Project Nice web page.

    6. Choose the first Nice NFT you want to buy and click the "Mint Now" button below the image.

    7. A pop-up will appear – check that the image is the correct Nice NFT you wish to purchase. Then choose the number of editions you want from the drop-down menu and click the "Mint Now" button (max five per Nice NFT).

    8. Again your wallet should automatically open, otherwise navigate to it manually.

    9. This time the message in the wallet will quote you the total price for the number of editions you wish to purchase and the Ethereum network gas fee. This fee isn’t controlled by us, but rather it’s a processing fee by Ethereum. It varies depending on how busy the Ethereum network is at the time. We recommend not interfering with the gas recommendations, lowering this GWEI/fee will likely result in your transaction failing and you will lose that gas fee.

    10. Click to confirm the transaction. If you opted for the recommended gas fee, your transaction should be confirmed within 30 seconds (but may take longer and may, in the unlikely event of a major spike in gas, fail). To reduce this risk and speed up your transaction you can opt for a higher gas fee as well. Or pay to speed up your transaction while it's processing.

    11. Congratulations! Your Nice NFTs are now in your wallet.

  • This is a security measure to discourage people from increasing the number of Nice NFT editions they’re able to purchase by using alternate wallets. The Twitter account gets linked to one wallet address.
